Bob Hope Departs for Sto-Vo-Kor

Although this will be in every paper in the world, I thought it prudent to mention it here. Bob Hope, one of the greatest (mayhaps THE greatest) entertainers of all time, passed away on Sunday. Here's one of the stories on the net.

I, like nearly all Americans, grew up with Bob Hope movies and specials. I know that there are many in Fandom who have seen some of his military tours while they themselsves wereserving in far off lands.

News of his passing is being passed around on some of the Klingon email lists out there, including a posting by Kethas epetai-Rustadzh of the IKF who is a third generation member of his family to see one of Bob Hope's many shows.

Thanks for the memories, Bob. You made the world a richer place, and we will miss you.
