« Jefferson Indicted On Corruption, Bribery Charges | Main | McKennedy Amnesty Bill Defeated...For Now »

Been A Busy Week

I've been heavily wrapped up on two other projects, one is getting the Quadrant website up to snuff appearance wise and fixing a bug in the Mission Muster page, the other is I have received an appointment as the new commander of KAG's ECorps. You may not know what that is, which is okay. It's part of my Fandom activities, which is to say, hobby time.

The debates have been the interesting big news, along with William Jefferson FINALLY getting indicted for bribery, corruption, and other charges. Let's see how long it takes to get the rat out Congress.

For the GOP nomination, i have narrowed my field down: Ron Paul is a nutter and I wouldn't vote for him if he were the last man on Earth. I'm beginning to think he is the Dennis Kucinich of the GOP. Although I am not thrilled with Guiliani, I'll take him over Hillary any day of the week. I still like Romney, and Duncan Hunter.

In the kickoff, Duncan Hunter didn't have the name recognition of the top contenders, however that seems to be changing as he is getting more air time with various talk shows and getting his message out. I like him. Hopefully, if he doesn't make the top position, he should be at the top of any short list for VP.

Newt Gingrich is sounding like a no-show, as in not going to run, but you never know. Fred Thomsen is expected to announce in a few weeks. That will change some dynamics and shake out some of the bottom of the pack so we can focus on the tier 1 and tier 2 candidates. In otherwords, shake out Ron Paul.

Tonight is my monthly Townhall Meetup at the Park Tavern in Brooklyn Park, MN. 7 PM, and we're in the meeting room. My guess is we'll be talking about the Immigration Reform package and the current campaign. New faces are always welcome, so if you are in the area, drop on by.
