Obama’s Ohio Surogates Play Race Card

Obama’s surrogates and supporters continue to play the “race” card, this time in Ohio where two hard-Left Democrat State Representatives, Bob Hagan and Tom Letson are saying it is unpatriotic to not vote for Obama.

They argue many voters who call themselves “Democrats” or “Independents”, but won’t vote for Obama, have only one excuse, with Letson saying, “I would say that a lot of it is they’re not going to vote for ‘the black guy’”.

Hagan called the issue “unpatriotic,” adding those not willing to vote for Obama need “to face that fact. That that’s not acceptable in America.”

Let us be precise here: They are asserting that there are a log of people will not vote for Obama because he is black. Okay, I will grant that there are some people who fall into that category: KKKers, white supremists, and other, similar ilk. They are such an inconsequential demographic that their decision will have no impact on this election. There are also a lot of people who will not vote for McCain because he is white. Especially in places like Harlem, but we don’t hear people going on about how that is racist.

But to assert that it is now unpatriotic to vote for Obama is absolute Moonbattiness. Barack Obama is a Socialist who consorts with terrorists. Socialism is diametrically opposed to the ideals of American Liberty. If anything, it is unpatriotic to vote FOR Obama just based on where he stands on the issues and that he believes terrorists are “mainstream.”

Obama can’t win on the issues; every time he opens his mouth he insults half of America (like those of us who “cling” to our guns and religion); he supports raising taxes on working Americans, especially Social Security taxes, while pushing for tax cuts for Warren Buffett, whom Obama thinks is just another average Joe middle-class guy (Buffett’s salary is $100,000 per year, which Obama says is a middle-class income).

For the hard-Left, the Democratic Party as a whole, and, most especially, Barack Obama, the only path to victory they see is by calling anyone who doesn’t vote for him an “unpatriotic racist.” Just how Patriotic is that?
