The presidential campaign got a little too hot for two Portland men who were arrest early Saturday morning, Oct. 11, and charged with burning a John McCain campaign sign in Southeast Portland.
Portland Fire and Rescue investigators said the two men made a Molotov cocktail and threw it at the sign in the 7900 block of Southeast 17th Avenue.
Leslie Brockette Leudtke, 23, and Kevin Carl Robinson, 23, were held on at least eight felony charges of making a destructive device and possession of a destructive device. Leudtke also was charged with reckless burning.
Fire investigators tracked these thugs down and have tossed their butts in jail.
According to the hard-Left MoveOn(to terrorism) crowd, the GOP is “the party of hate,” yet it is the goons on the left who terrorize homeowners and Conservatives, using tactics of hate, intimidation, and terrorism to squelch free speech.
Hopefully these guys will get a speedy trial and conviction so that they will not be allowed to vote in the coming election.
