Nan: “500 MILLION Americans Lose Their Jobs Every Month

Question of the day: Is there anyone in Washington dumber than Barack Obama? Answer: Nancy Pelosi.

During a press conference, responding to a question on the economic stimulus package, Pelosi had this to say:

Every month that we do not have an economic recovery package, 500 MILLION Americans lose their jobs.

Here’s the video:

That’s right, Pelosi actually said “500 MILLION Americans” as in more people, adults and children combined, currently living in the United States, lose their jobs every month.

This is right up there with Obama’s visiting 57 states. Okay, maybe that’s where these people live, is in those additional Obama states we’ve heard about.

Or is this yet more evidence that the new drug policy in Washington is “you must share.” Since Pelosi is from California, I guess it is a fair question to ask: Watcha been smokin’ Nan? And are you sharing with Obama?
