Woodhouse Moonbats About Peace Prize

October 12th, 2009 | by Sqotty |

On this snow-covered Monday in October, we’re getting off to an early start for Moonbat Awards, the latest one going to Democratic National Committee communications director Brad Woodhouse for his claim that anyone making jokes about Obama receiving the Nobel Peace Prize is siding with terrorists, the Taliban, and Hamas.

From Politico:

“The Republican Party has thrown in its lot with the terrorists - the Taliban and Hamas this morning - in criticizing the President for receiving the Nobel Peace prize,” DNC communications director Brad Woodhouse told POLITICO. “Republicans cheered when America failed to land the Olympics and now they are criticizing the President of the United States for receiving the Nobel Peace prize - an award he did not seek but that is nonetheless an honor in which every American can take great pride - unless of course you are the Republican Party.

First off, we’re not joking about Obama winning the Peace Prize, but we are making jokes about the Peace Prize itself, as it has become nothing more than a political trophy for the hard-left political operatives going back to Teddy Roosevelt, one of the original progressives. It became clear to most reasonable Americans that the Nobel Peace Prize is nothing but a joke when it gave one to Jimmy Carter as an attempt to slap the Bush Administration, then to Al Gore for his continued attempts to perpetrate the fraud of man-caused global warming on the world; the award to Obama, who, being nominated after only eleven days in office, was nominated for his announced “good intentions” at peace and nuclear disarmament (which would be a disaster for the Free World). That is a joke. It’s not Obama we’re laughing at, but the nutters who award the Nobel Peace Prize. Woodhouse obviously doesn’t get that.

But the underlying current of Woodhouse’s rant is that those who speak out against The One is: Not only are you a bunch of teabagging racists, you are also terrorists! Yep, that’s right, if oppose the Anointed One, you are just another c***-s**king, racist, terrorist, and you are unpatriotic to boot.

Granted, Woodhouse is right about one thing; to the best of my knowledge Obama did not seek out this award. Obama should have, however, declined the award. As it is now, the award has no meaning.

Woodhouse is wrong about Obama’s failure to get the Olympics for Chicago. I, for one, cheered when it was announced that Rio de Janeiro won the Olympics as it would be the first time in Olympic history that the games will be held in South America. The fact that it isn’t Chicago, despite attempts by both Obama’s was no big deal to me. Except for regards the millions of taxpayer dollars pissed into the wind by the Obamas for their weekender in Denmark. That is something I took exception to, and if criticizing that wasteful expenditure makes me unpatriotic, anti-American, blah-blah-blah, then what does that make Brad Woodhouse?

Woodhouse went on to say that “Republican Party has no boundaries, has no shame and has proved that they will put politics above patriotism at every turn.” Where has he been during the Bush Administration when the Democrats and their shills in the media would stop at nothing, including pushing forged documents, in attempts to discredit Bush? It is clear to me that Woodhouse and the Democrats are experts at putting politics above patriotism. I am not even sure if Woodhouse knows how to spell “patriotism” without a spellchecker.

For all of the above statements, it is with great pleasure that I announce that Brad Woodhouse is the latest recipient of the Moonbat Award. Congratulations, Brad. You worked hard for it. If there is a political party that “has no boundaries, has no shame and has proved that they will put politics above patriotism at every turn”, then that must be the Democratic Party.
