Marcotte Moonbats About Marriage
October 27th, 2009 | by Sqotty |It was only a matter of time before an organization (other than the Democratic Party) would garner a Moonbat Award. Congratulations to the folks at rescuemarriage.org, you’ve won the coveted Moonbat Award for the following video that demonizes mainstream Americans and marriage.
With lines like “You said ’til death do us part…you’re not dead yet”, “children of single parent homes are repulsive and unlovable” (which means these nuts believe that I am repulsive and unlovable, as my mother was a single mom for a lot of my childhood) and “Jesus still loves you, just not as much as before”, you managed to out-do anybody else out there.
Yep, these folks want to make divorce illegal in the State of California. Any and all divorces. All because they don’t like the fact that Proposition 8 passed, banning same sex marriage. Now, if they were interested in eliminating No_Fault divorce, they might be on to something.
The domain rescuemarriage.org is registered to John Marcotte of Sacramento, California, who also runs a website called technerds. It claims that the author, John Marcotte, “is a firm believer in traditional family values. He currently opposes gay marriage, Obama talking to children and MSNBC’s entire prime-time line-up”, claims that I seriously doubt to be true.
Any rate, because Rescue Marriage believes that marriage is like Hell, they are the latest winners of the Moonbat Award. Suggestion to John Marcotte: if this is what you really think about marriage, then don’t get married.
These people and their initiative to ban divorce in California is an example of why we here in Minnesota are unable to get Initiative and Referendum enabled here.a
