The Moonbats of Global Warming
by
Todd C. Hansen

On glittering wings of airplanes
So many Moonbats gather,
In a land so distant from their own,
To discuss all things climate.

On private planes they came,
Then in limos they rode,
Dumping tons of carbon into the air we breathe.

“It’s all that man-produced carbon that is to blame” they say,
Warming the Earth both night and day,
Even as they dump 40,000 tons of carbon into the air,
It’s only fair,
As they are there for a common good,
Even though that is more carbon than the 30 smallest nations all combined.

Forty-two may be the answer,
Not to the Ultimate Question,
But the number of Limos
That France must have.

Bring them in from near and far,
Not just the Moonbats
But their gas-guzzling cars.
And with their private planes so many,
The message is clear:
“Do as we say, not as we do!”
As that is the only way
To break the working class,
And make Al Gore rich
Beyond his wildest dreams.

Okay, I admit that I am no Poet Laureate, nor will I win a Nobel prize for poetry, but at least I think I’ll get more kudos than the Boracle when it comes to poetry and Global Warming.
