Janeane Garofalo Now Says it is Racist to Support an African-American for President

Janeane Garofalo has put her foot in it again, claiming it is now racist to support a black man who is running for president.

Real Clear Politics has the video, and here is the transcription:

Janeane Garofalo: “Herman Cain is probably well liked by some of the Republicans because it hides the racist elements of the Republican party. Conservative movement and tea party movement, one in the same.

“People like Karl Rove liked to keep the racism very covert. And so Herman Cain provides this great opportunity say you can say ‘Look, this is not a racist, anti-immigrant, anti-female, anti-gay movement. Look we have a black man.’”

Wasn’t it just a couple of years ago that she said it was racist to oppose a black man running for president, and a few weeks ago for opposing the policies of a black president. Which is it, Garofalo? Are you a racist because you supported Obama because he is black, or are you a racist for opposing Herman Cain because he is black? Inquiring minds want to know.

Meanwhile, with a rant like the one she made, Janeane Garofaolo is definitely in line for a Moonbat Award, so, without further adieu: Congratulations to Janeane Garofalo, the latest recipient of the Moonbat Award. You’ve earned it, Baby!
