The films cover quite a span, with the earliest being 1925 and 1927, and running up through about 2006. It also covers a lot of non-SF territory: Westerns, War, Detective, Spy, Musicals, and just about everything else. These are all movies – no TV shows or mini-series. Some have suffered the indignity of remakes and some are remakes that were better than the original (The Buccaneer). Feel free to post additions in the comments section. I’d like to see what others would put on their list.
